Old Oswestry Hill Fort (aka. The Earthworks/Caer Ogyrfan) as viewed from above, demonstrating the complex ramparts. It is said to be one of the finest examples of Iron Age hill fort still remaining. Its small size meant that the defenses were required to be more elaborate. Construction began circa 600 BC.


St. Oswalds Parish Church, the result of several renovations over the past millenium. The oldest part is the Tower believed to have been built circa 1085




The Llwyd Mansion, situated on The Cross in the center of Oswestry. The Double headed Eagle on its side is accompanied by the date 1604.
